IS-X developed a new analytical lab application, called TasteSpec 2.0, for Meron, an independent wine institute in Netherlands.
How does your wine perform amongst its peers? Meron uses this new application to substantiate taste observations in wine. By introducing objective taste parameters, subjective elements are removed from the equation, allowing for more robust quality criteria. Moreover, wine defects are detected at very low concentration levels.
“With the introduction of the TasteSpec 2.0, we are entering a new era in which subjective taste perceptions are contextualized better than ever before”, according to Harry Van Dungen, director of Meron.
